R.NANDAGOPAL, Technical Advisor

A postgraduate Diploma in Sugar Engineering from the National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, he is a specialist in boiler operations. He has an experience of over 4 decades in the sugar industry culminating as the Chief Engineer, Government of Tamil Nadu. He is currently the Technical Advisor of the Company.

He has set up over a dozen sugar factories heading the project team right from design to commissioning and further capacity expansions. He has introduced the latest technologies to improve production efficiencies to international standards.

His experience also extends to design of power co generation systems, setting up distilleries to produce alcohol and manufacture of paper from bagasse.

He has visited all major sugar producing countries and has introduced to India advanced methodologies in sugar production.

His notable achievement is introducing to the Indian Sugar industry high-pressure steam boilers for better efficiency.

He has been elected Vice President of the Sugar Technologists Association of India for one term and council member for two terms. He was also appointed member of the Standards Specification Committee of the Government of India for sugar machinery.

P.V.L NARASIMHAM, Technical Advisor (Cane)

Equipped with A.N.S.I (Sugar Tech) from National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, he has experience of more than 37 years in this industry. Starting with British India Corporation Group of factories in UP as Deputy Chief Chemist, he joined UP State Sugar Corporation as Chief Chemist followed by Chief Sugar Technologist with Gangavati Sugars Ltd.,He joined Nizam Sugars Ltd, AP as General Manager (Project & Technical), moved on to Jord Engineers India Ltd, in Baroda as Vice President (International Marketing). Prior to joining Rajshree Sugars he was a consultant with Adam Smith institute on the panel of Professional Advisers for government of Andhra Pradesh.

He has attended training program in Operations & Maintenance by DDS Diffusers, Denmark. Also he has attended ISSCT Conference held in Thailand, Columbia and New Delhi. He has presented more than 35 papers for STA, DSTA, SISTA and International Sugar Journal.

He has served several committies as Honarary Memeber. He has carried out several Technical Consultancy works in countries like Philipines and Ghana.

Counter Current Director Contact Heaters, Chromatographic Studies of Deterioration of Sugars, Preliminary trials for producing high quality sugar by phosipitation of syrup and Introducing cost effective mechanical cane loading by introducing Bell Cane Loaders are some of his significant contributions to the sugar industry.
