Employee Welfare

RSCL provides employment, directly and indirectly, to over 500 workers. Apart from this, 12,000 families of cane-cutting labourers and truck drivers look to the company for work. It would not be an exaggeration to say that RSCL is mainly responsible for the overall socio-economic development of the most backward areas in Theni District, in terms of income to farmers, employment, business, trade, transport, roads, and educational institutes and health care. As an agro-based industry, RSCL is the economic backbone of Theni.

When we speak of ‘employees,’ we speak of families and our emphasis is on improving relationships and creating better work-life balance. This isn’t easy to do in the stressful times that we live in. But at Rajshree.

we offer many different avenues of help

The aim of the school is to impart education to the children of the sugar factory employees and those coming from remote villages. From one block and 378 students, the school now has 34 spacious, fully-furnished classrooms, 3 completely- equipped science labs, 2 computer labs and a library. Three buses and a van ply for the convenience of children and staff. The student strength stands at 1114 pupils- 630 boys and 484 girls.

Associations, spiritual quests, school excursions, sports day, children’s day and annual day are some of the many wonderful experiences that children take part in, in the school.

The school has produced 100% results almost each year in the X and XII public exams. Our student received a state III rank in the X public exam for the year 2013-14.
