Employee Welfare

RSCL provides employment, directly and indirectly, to over 500 workers. Apart from this, 12,000 families of cane-cutting labourers and truck drivers look to the company for work. It would not be an exaggeration to say that RSCL is mainly responsible for the overall socio-economic development of the most backward areas in Theni District, in terms of income to farmers, employment, business, trade, transport, roads, and educational institutes and health care. As an agro-based industry, RSCL is the economic backbone of Theni.

When we speak of ‘employees,’ we speak of families and our emphasis is on improving relationships and creating better work-life balance. This isn’t easy to do in the stressful times that we live in. But at Rajshree.

we offer many different avenues of help

  • Counselling sessions
  • Home visits
  • Referrals
  • Summer camps

All these offer opportunities to discuss and work through problems and issues that might be facing the family unit.
